DESCRIPTION:20th Australasian Bat Society Conference 2022\n​​We are excited to announce the 20th Australasian Bat Society Conference for 2022. We plan to host this event in-person\, but will be closely monitoring the COVID-19 lockdown and border restriction situation in the lead up to the event in case we need to move the conference online. Due to Queensland University holidays\, we are holding the conference the week before Easter (rather than traditionally after Easter). For this reason\, the conference field trip will be held BEFORE the conference. We encourage you (and your families) to enjoy your Easter break in sunny Queensland after the conference. Brisbane makes an excellent base for holidays on K’Gari (Fraser) Island\, Stradbroke Island\, the Granite Belt\, Bunya Mountains\, Lamington National Park (& O’Reillys)\, or the Sunshine or Gold Coast – to name a few incredible holiday destinations! \nLocation: Brisbane\, Queensland\nVenue: Queensland University of Technology\, Gardens Point Campus\, Brisbane CBD\nDates: Monday 11th – Wednesday 13th April 2022\nWelcome Function: Sunday 10th April\, an evening Batty Boat Cruise of Brisbane River\nField Trip: Location TBA\, 9th April\, transport provided to/from Brisbane CBD.\nMore information to come…
