DESCRIPTION:Come join Dr. José Martinez-Fonseca for his talk “Bats in Focus: Wildlife Through Research and Photography! Dr. Martinez-Fonseca is a Nicaraguan researcher who is currently a postdoctoral researcher at Northern Arizona University. While he currently is researching landscape analysis to better understand the relationship between bat species and forest cover\, he is also using photography to bring bats into the limelight! The talk will be available FREE via Zoom on 01 October 2025 at 9 AM Eastern US Time\, and will be made available for viewing afterwards on the GBatNet YouTube channel. The talk is appropriate for all levels of expertise\, including those who are new to the field and want to learn more about how they may plug into this type of research.
