My Field for Dummies – Paying Attention to Bat Foraging Guilds

Come join GBatNet steering committee member, Dr. Iroro Tanshi, for her talk “Paying attention to bat foraging guilds”! Dr. Tanshi is a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Washington, Seattle. She is an interdisciplinary community ecologist educated in West Africa, Europe, and the US. Her experience spans 15 years of natural history science to understand bat functional ecology, biogeography, and conservation. Dr. Tanshi is also a recipient of the 2026 Goldman Environmental Prize which is awarded to grassroots environmental champions from around the world who take significant action for our planet!
