Living at the Thermal Limits: Bat Behaviour and Physiology in Extreme Temperatures

Come join Kristina Muise for her talk focused on the thermal extremes of bats! Kristina earned her MSc. in Winnipeg, Manitoba and her interests focus broadly on the physiology and behaviour in species affected by wildlife diseases. Her previous research focused primarily on the ecophysiology of bat species in North America, and is pursuing her degree in veterinary medicine with a focus on wildlife diseases and conservation medicine. She is currently an instructor at the University of Winnipeg!
The talk will be available FREE via Zoom on 06 May 2026 at 9 AM Eastern US Time, and will be made available for viewing afterwards on the GBatNet YouTube channel. The talk is appropriate for all levels of expertise, including those who are new to the field and want to learn more about how they may plug into this type of research.
